SCTE update and overview. What I get from being a member of North Central Texas Chapter of the SCTE. Introduce the SCTE to non-members with a video and Q&A. 

DOCSIS 3.1 … . It’s called DOCSIS 3.1, and it’s a big deal. Every evolution in the DOCSIS specification added substantially new features – from 1.0 to 1.1 to 2.0 and, the latest workhorse for IP video, DOCSIS 3.0. The chapter will be going over how this next level of DOCSIS will make the others pale in comparison. 

Ipv6 ….. Ipv6 is the replacement for IPv4. Ipv4 is still the main workhorse for internet traffic, but v6 is going to be the norm soon. Ipv6 has advantages over v4 besides the amounts of IP you get for your networks. The chapter will be going over a how v6 differs from v4.
